Professional with high knowledge in mathematics education; teacher of mathematics and physics at German secondary school; teacher, lecturer and scientist in the area of mathematics education for more than 30 years; wide experiences in the development and investigation of the mathematics education and mathematical learning processes; many years of experience in the development of curricula in the area of mathematics in school and university; co-author of textbooks in didactics of mathematics and co-author of a lot of textbooks used in German schools, for example the school textbook “Mathematikus”; founder of www.mathematikus.de

Wide experience in international teacher-trainings (Luxemburg, Austria, Chile, Kazakhstan);

Work main focuses are: Fundamental questions of the mathematics education, possibilities for the improvement of the geometry lessons, the development of the spatial abilities in the mathematic lessons, the work with heterogeneous learning groups with the aim of the support of the mathematically gifted children in the lessons, teaching mathematics and the balance between foundations and creativity.
