Aleksandra Gruszka-Gosiewska

Aleksandra ICIE ConferenceAleksandra Gruszka-Gosiewska is assistant professor at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University, Krakow where she completed her Ph.D in 1999. In 2004 she was awarded a travel scholarship by the Wellcome Trust and moved to the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge, UK where she worked for two years as a post-doctoral scientists. Her professional interests span the field of cognitive psychology, neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, concentrating particularly on the studies of creativity, as well as on cognitive dysfunctions in patients with neurodegenerative diseases. She is an author and co-author of many publications concerning creativity and individual differences in cognition. Moreover, for the last 15 years she has worked as a trainer and leader at workshops of creative thinking and creative thinking instigating techniques.
